Emirates Airline

Established in Oct-1985, Emirates Airline is the national carrier of the emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Emirates is the world's largest airline and is among the fastest-growing carriers worldwide, pursuing an aggressive network. The airline operates with a fleet of wide-body equipment, and is the largest operator of the Airbus A380 aircraft type. Emirates, operating from its hub at Dubai International Airport, provides an extensive network of services within the Middle East as well as to Africa, Asia, the South Pacific, North America, Europe and South America. Emirates SkyCargo is the air freight division of Emirates serving over 50 destinations.

Flying Differently With Emirates

The Emirates slogan is, “Don’t just fly, fly better,” and it speaks volumes about their corporate approach. In an era in which many airlines continue to make cutbacks on services offered to bring in fees, Emirates strives to be different.

As of 2018, they boasted their 14th win in a row for best in-flight entertainment from the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards. Their Boeing 777s offer 3-D video screens, but all flights offer box set programming and countless other programs in languages from around the world, featured on 3,500 channels.

But if in-flight entertainment isn’t your bag, even economy passengers can enjoy free Wi-Fi, have their own in-seat charging station and make calls aboard all Emirates flights. (The Wi-Fi caveat is that it’s just 20 MB free, must be used in two hours, and, reportedly, can be quite slow.)
